I never bought ant Police records back in the day - probably thought they were just a 'pop' group that churned out lots of hits; did later buy a Sting album. The best of the Police shows that they were very good as was Sting's writing which evolved into his solo efforts which together form a brilliant compilation/5().
The band's first double disc Greatest Hits collection, The Police is comprised of hits and fan favourites, including their first single Fall Out and enduring hits 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic', 'De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da', 'Message In A Bottle', 'Roxanne' and, of course, 'Every Breath You Take'.
"Invisible Sun" is a song by rock group the Police, released as a single in Europe in September It was the first single to be released in the United Kingdom from the album Ghost in the Machine and it reached No. 2 on the official chart. The song also reached No. 5 in Ireland and No. 27 in the Netherlands. It was not released as a single in the U.S.

Still, the Police were responsible for some of the greatest rock tunes of all time, and all 11 originals are superb: "Roxanne," "Walking on the Moon," "Invisible Sun," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "King of Pain," the title track, and others. The only criticism is the absence of other hits/videos/radio faves such as "Synchronicity II.

Invisible Sun Lyrics: One, two, three, four, five, six / Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh / I don't want to spend the rest of my life / Looking at the barrel of an Armalite / I don't want to spend the rest.
Greatest Hits – The Police The Police’s albums are all a little inconsistent, and this compilation does a great job of putting 16 of their best songs in one place. It preserves the terrific second half of Synchronicity, in the same sequence.
