1. Los Brincos (The Leapers or The Jumpers) were the best Spanish '60s pop band, acclaimed, then and now, as the equivalent of the Spanish Beatles. Contrabando is arguably their most complete LP; recorded in London By Larry Page - under the stylistic influence of Swinging London and such refined works as Revolver, The Zombies' Odessey and Oracle and The Kinks' Something Else - it was .

2. All reissues of Contrabando (even the Vinylissimo lp reissue) use this inferior digital source. However the lp tracks that were issued on Spanish and UK 45's sound great. So this is one of those lp's that screams for a high quality reissue from good sounding source tapes (assuming they still exist)/5(6).

3. By they were still really good but their originality edge was diminishing. Their exciting LP "Contrabando" has a few brilliant songs on it. The other great CD of their songs is the CD "Contrabando" (Zafiro/BMG) with many bonus tracks on it. (Los Brincos=The Leapers or The Jumpers)4/5(1).
